Amelia and her husband stand out amongst this group for their places of
origin: Orkney, Sweden, Greenock, all unusual for the Charlotte Chapel group.
The connection seems to be with another, more local, couple who had married in
the chapel a decade previously, Mary Congalton
and Alexander Ramsay. But the intriguing
links remain unearthed.
